Stretch Film

Strong, clingy stretch film for pallet wrapping and safe storage and transport.

Overview

What are Stretch Film?

Stretch film is a highly elastic film that is wrapped tightly around goods on a pallet or around large items. It stretches, then grips the load, holding cartons together so they do not shift, fall or get dusty during storage and transport.

Our stretch film is made for good cling, puncture resistance and stretch, so you use less film per pallet and your load stays secure.

Rotogravure Printing
Step 01

Rotogravure Printing

Your artwork is engraved on cylinders and printed in multiple colours on high-speed rotogravure presses. The result is sharp images, rich colour and the same registration from the first metre to the last.

Lamination
Step 02

Lamination

The printed film is bonded with one or more layers such as PE, metallised PET or foil. Lamination adds strength, sealability and barrier against moisture, oxygen and light.

Curing
Step 03

Curing

Laminated rolls rest in a controlled curing area until the adhesive reaches full bond strength. This step is what keeps layers from separating later on your packing line.

Slitting & Rewinding
Step 04

Slitting & Rewinding

Cured jumbo rolls are slit to the exact width and rewound on the core size your machine needs, ready for automatic form-fill-seal lines.

Pouch & Bag Making
Step 05

Pouch & Bag Making

Rolls are converted into pouches and bags with side seal, bottom seal, centre seal, zipper, handle or gusset as required, then checked, packed and dispatched.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between hand and machine stretch film?

Hand rolls are smaller and lighter for manual wrapping. Machine rolls are larger and made for pallet-wrapping machines that pre-stretch the film.

Will the film leave sticky marks on my cartons?

No. Stretch film clings to itself, not to the product, and leaves no residue.

Can I get black stretch film?

Yes. Clear, black and coloured films are available.
