Liner Bags for Sugar Industry

LD liner bags that go inside woven sugar sacks to keep sugar dry, clean and free-flowing.

Overview

What are Liner Bags for Sugar Industry?

Sugar picks up moisture very easily. In a plain woven sack it can absorb humidity, form lumps and get contaminated by dust. A liner bag is a thin plastic bag placed inside the woven sack that keeps the sugar sealed from moisture and dirt.

We make food-grade LD liner bags sized for standard 50 kg sugar sacks and for other sizes as required, supplied in bulk to sugar mills and packers.

Rotogravure Printing
Step 01

Rotogravure Printing

Your artwork is engraved on cylinders and printed in multiple colours on high-speed rotogravure presses. The result is sharp images, rich colour and the same registration from the first metre to the last.

Lamination
Step 02

Lamination

The printed film is bonded with one or more layers such as PE, metallised PET or foil. Lamination adds strength, sealability and barrier against moisture, oxygen and light.

Curing
Step 03

Curing

Laminated rolls rest in a controlled curing area until the adhesive reaches full bond strength. This step is what keeps layers from separating later on your packing line.

Slitting & Rewinding
Step 04

Slitting & Rewinding

Cured jumbo rolls are slit to the exact width and rewound on the core size your machine needs, ready for automatic form-fill-seal lines.

Pouch & Bag Making
Step 05

Pouch & Bag Making

Rolls are converted into pouches and bags with side seal, bottom seal, centre seal, zipper, handle or gusset as required, then checked, packed and dispatched.

Share your woven sack size and we will make the liner to fit with the right allowance for filling and stitching.

Is the liner safe for food?
